On behalf of the family I would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the care shown our mother, Gertrude Pendergast, since she arrived at Tiffany Village in April, 2012.
Not only was Mom cared for with professionalism, she was loved. The fourth floor staff are to be commended for their patience, humour, tolerance, and understanding.
Mom’s last week was a difficult one and the staff shared our pain as we watched over her. Mom received excellent care and we were cared for as well by the RNs, LPNs, PCAs, kitchen staff, concierge, and administration.
Our last days with Mom were greatly eased by your compassion.

I have lived at Tiffany Village ever since it opened more than five years ago and I could not be happier. I find I can do all the things I did at home here. Most of my children live out of Province and I only have one daughter living here in the City. Patricia and I have done a lot of entertaining here, a family baby shower, birthday party and numerous family gatherings here in the beautiful dining room and get togethers with my lady friends since moving in. The staff and other residents here are just like family and there is a real community atmosphere at Tiffany Village. At Tiffany you can be very busy going to all the activities they have to offer or just hang out as you would in your own home – the choice is up to you. I call Tiffany Village my home now and my family away know that I am content and safe at Tiffany.

I have lived at Tiffany Village for three and a half years and have been just as content and happy as if I were in my own home. It is a friendly place and you can always find someone who is ready to chat. I have made many friends here and have gotten to know their families. Families are always welcome here. The residents here care about each other and for each other and the administration and staff care about and for us all in a loving manner which makes it feel like home. To quote one of the words on the plaques in the hallway “The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here ” – Here at Tiffany Village!

Dear Tiffany, Our family wants to thank all of you so very much for all your goodness and loving kindness to my brother, Ron. There were times of dancing and singing that took away his pain for a time. His suffering is no more but you made his final days all the more bearable by your being there for him in good times and bad. He could not have been in a better home or better cared for. We thank you so much and we will always have a place in our hearts for Tiffany Village.

The care that my mother has received at Tiffany has been absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly attentive, leaving our family completely confident that she is in the best hands possible. There is no end to their attention to detail, and we are thankful for their support. The facilities and activities truly provide a sense of home.

On February 4, 2014 I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with my grandmother at Tiffany Village. We were entertained by the Walsh Brothers and they were fabulous. While I enjoyed the evening immensely, I was overwhelmed by the compassion and caring I witnessed shown by the staff who so respectfully cared for the residents. The staff was genuinely interested in ensuring everyone had a great time. It is beautiful to see my grandmother enjoying her golden years with dignity and grace. Thank you!

I love living here at Tiffany Village. My granddaughter often asks me why I love it here so much and I tell her it’s because of the food and the staff. The food is so much better than where I used to live before and the staff here are not just any ordinary people, they are like my family and make me feel so at home. I only wished I had chosen to live here first.
